This years 2007 benefit quilt was put on the frame January 17 and it is a beauty! The pattern, Tennessee Waltz, by Quilt in a Day, was chosen by Rose and Pat, They made up all the fabric packets so members could each make a block. Then Pat and Rose put the blocks together and added the borders. The beautiful fabrics, "Family Tree by Mary Koval", were donated to us by Windham Fabrics.This is going to be one beautiful quilt with all the hand quilting! Be sure to purchase tickets from a member or better yet, come to the show, August 11.
The proceeds from this quilt will go to the Windham Historical Society, the Saugerties Historical Society, local and national charitable causes.
