Patchworkers Quilting Weekend Retreat

The Patchworkers will be holding their first annual quilting retreat, October 12 to the 14, 2007.
A wonderful weekend of sewing and fun. The retreat is being sponsored by Windham Fabrics.
Included in the weekend will be a Mystery Project that you may decide to do. Also, a special lecture and trunk show by Pat Speth, author of "Nickel Quilts". A Mystery Project designed by Angee Opdyke will be given to all attendees. This mystery will be made using two fabric lines from Windham Fabrics.
Spaces were filled up fast.

Oh SEW Busy..........and SEW much to tell...........

The 2007 raffle quilt is off the frame and it is a beauty. I will post a full picture as soon as I can. This year we have decided to hold our quilt fair for two days. Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th. We are very excited about this . Also new for the quilt show will be a Dream Basket chinese auction. Each basket has a theme such as, Tea Party, Northwoods, Kids Treats and more. Many quilts to view, demonstations, a wonderful boutique and we are working on bringing in a guest speaker.
Also on the Patchworkers design board is a retreat. YES, a Quilters Retreat!
This will be held October, 12, 13 and 14, 2007. It will be held in Windham NY at the Christmans Windham House and is being sponsored by Windham Fabrics. Will give the retreat it's own space soon.

Doris was given a lifetime member certificate at the April 11 meeting. Doris was a founding member and has been with the Patchworkers for 34 years!
